Matt has vast experience in the start-up of multiple successful ventures, and has led the profitable growth of these ventures and overseen the management in the areas of Business Development, Human Resource Management and Public Relations. Matt has held senior managerial positions at VanRoy, EMR Industries, Get Smart and Global DSL Communications. Most recently, he co-founded and managed a home automation sales and service dealership, Suite Automation. Matt has over 20 years of experience in business development and project management within various industry segments including: hard disk drive sales, embedded servo-writer sales, computer re-manufacturing and sales, Internet Service Provider (ISP) for dialup and commercial DSL services over advanced wireless networking, Internet communication services and home automation sales and service.
ROBERT HEATH

Robert brings over 15 years of executive level leadership experience in the high-tech industry with him to the role as CEO. Prior to joining NYCE, he held executive leadership roles at Triant Technologies Inc., Strydent Software Inc., and Cymbolic Sciences Inc., as well as senior management roles at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), and IBM. Robert graduated with honors from Bath University in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

Education: (Honors) Degree in Aviation Electronics, Canadore College, Applied Arts & Technology, 1985. Kirk’s primary technical background is in aviation communication and navigational instrumentation with extensive experience within the micro-electronic manufacturing, sales and service industry. He has participated in the start-up and operation of multiple successful ventures, managing many disciplines including Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Investor Relations. Kirk has held senior managerial positions at Future Interface, Wild Rivers, Get Smart and Global DSL Communications. Most recently he co-founded and managed a home automation sales and service dealership, Suite Automation. Kirk has over 20 years of experience in team leadership and project management within various industry segments including: hard disk drive re-manufacturing, embedded servo-writer manufacturing and sales, computer re-manufacturing and sales, Internet Service Provider (ISP) for dialup and commercial DSL services over advanced wireless networking, Internet communication services and home automation sales and service.
BRAD KELLY
CTO, CO-FOUNDER, P.Eng.
Education: B.A.Sc. (Honors) in Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University, 1990. Brad’s primary technical background is in RF Design, and he also has vast direct experience designing with and managing all the disciplines required for Product Design, from conceptual marketing through to mass-production. Brad has held senior design positions at: Vtech (Video Technology HK), PCS Wireless, PCS Solutions, ADC Telecommunications Wireless Systems Division and Tantalus Systems. He has held senior managerial positions at: PCS Wireless, PCS Solutions, Tantalus Systems and Holley Communications (formerly Philips Semiconductors). Most recently he co-founded and managed a successful contract engineering enterprise, Peragrin Systems. Brad has an extensive background in the design of electronic products for consumer, commercial and industrial markets and has designed communication equipment in numerous frequency bands for North American and international markets. He has developed low-cost, mass-produced RF/analog products for mature consumer telecom markets and high-volume, cutting-edge, digital personal communications equipment for modern and emerging markets. He has a deep understanding of the product development process and has managed it from initial concept to final off-shore, mass-production in several aggressive development programs. Brad has managed multi-disciplinary development teams on large-scale HFC and PCS telecommunication projects and has acted as a senior technical and managerial interface between large telecommunications partners in both technical and marketing negotiations. He has conducted technical and marketing product seminars for a broad-spectrum customer base of senior executives through technical personnel and has acted as a product liaison and company representative in international sales meetings and product compliance testing.
FRANCIS LING

Francis was appointed our Chief Financial Officer on January 1, 2010. From June 2006 until December 2009, he was Chief Financial Officer for Wentworth Energy, Inc., a Texas based, oil and gas exploration company. Prior to 2006, he was Chief Financial Officer for Dixon Networks Corporation, a contracting company that specializes in the engineering and construction of fiber optic networks for large telecommunication companies. Francis’s earlier career spans more then 20 years with various Canadian banks, holding senior positions in commercial and corporate banking. He holds Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, and Master of Business Administration degrees, along with a Fellowship in the Institute of the Canadian Bankers’ Association. Francis is also serving as a director in several private and public companies..
BILL GILL

Education: Business Administration Diploma, Red River College, 1984. Bill has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in sales leadership roles. He has held various management positions, primarily in areas of new technology adoption, with Rogers Communications, Shaw Communications, Bell ExpressVu and most recent with TELUS Communications. He has an exemplary track record of C-Suite business development within various industry segments including Building & Development Companies, Commercial Hotel and Rental management companies and all related channels. He has successfully developed and implemented detailed business plans incorporating sales goals, marketing strategies and technology requirements to deliver short and long term corporate objectives. He has developed and conducted several training seminars within each industry segment and has a very successful track record of influencing change of building industry standards in order to enable IPTV and other technology solutions.
